Books I've enjoyed using in classes:
  • The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson- I've paired this with a math and science class I teach. It has always been a huge hit, especially when you host a Rithmatist battle as part of the book discussion.
  • Elantris by Brandon Sanderson - I've used this when we study leaders. It helps students answer the questions of what makes a good leaders? Are power and scare tactics they only way to influence people?
